Readings & Events
Thursdays With ESWA
I will be leading an online Zoom session for the Eastern Shore Writers Association where I will demonstrate how to make the perfect cup of tea (as per British tradition). This will be followed by a discussion and some poetry prompts.
Beltway Café at the M.L.K
I will be one of the featured poets at the Beltway Café on Wednesday July 1st at the Martin Luther King Jr. Central Library Conference Room 401-D, Martin Luther King Jr Central Library of the D.C. Public Library (a half block from Gallery Place on the Red Line). There will also be an open mic.
First Friday Ragged Edge Reading Series
I will be a featured poet at the First Friday Ragged Edge Reading series hosted by Katy Giebenhain, Marty Malonein and Alan Bogage in Gettysburg on Friday September 4. The evening begins at 7pm with an open mic. There is then a short break followed by my reading. This series takes place in the Ragged Edge Coffee House (10 Chambersburg St, Gettysburg, PA 17325) which is a cute little place with delicious coffee, light eats and art on the walls. Arrive early and grab dinner there before heading up the stairs for some poetry!
Manor Mill Poetry Day 2026
On April 26 I’ll be hosting Manor Mill’s 3rd annual Poetry Day. Join us for a full day of poetry readings, workshops led by local poets, lunch & afternoon tea, a keynote speech with former Maryland poet laureate Grace Cavalieri, and more! Register at manor-mill.com/poetryday.
CityLit Festival 2026
CityLit Project nurtures the culture of literature in Baltimore and throughout Maryland by creating enthusiasm for the literary arts, connect a community of avid readers and writers, and design opportunities for diverse audiences to embrace the literary arts.
Find me at the Manor Mill table in the Literary Marketplace which is taking place at the Maryland Center for History and Culture (610 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD).
